New members, existing members, potential members…we’re so excited to meet you this Thursday (March 5th 6-8pm) that we’re bringing gifts!
Brigid’s Bottleshop is a cool venue, and John McMillan’s talks are always good, but now thanks to the generosity of the folks at The Avid Angler we are pleased to announce we are giving raffle tickets to attendees at our inaugural meeting this Thursday, March 5th, 2020 (6-8 pm at Brigid’s Bottleshop, 188 Sunset Ave, Edmonds WA 98020).
One raffle winner will take home with a new Ross Reels Evolution LTX 5|6 fly reel with Rio Gold WF5F line, courtesy of The Avid Angler.
As for the line, you can tell everyone, “I took home the Gold!”.
The other raffle winner gets to take a class of their choice at The Avid Angler. Learn to spey cast, a new fishery, or take a fly tying workshop–the choice will be yours if you win!
Don’t trust your luck? Arrive at 6 pm and be one of the first 25 people through the door to get a copy of John Gierach’s book “Good Flies”. We’ll also be giving copies out to show our gratitude for donations, but the first 25 books are on us.
This is, of course, in addition to the socializing, member vote to confirm our name change, Mr. McMillan’s talk, and the socializing and beverages you’ll enjoy.
